For contractors and the managers who send them
Contractor job links: no app, no account
Send a contractor one secure link to one job. They open it on their phone, do the work and report back, and you never have to onboard anybody.
What the contractor does
Opens the link
They see the fault as reported, the tenant's photos and the history so far. They do not see your tenant's contact details on the PDF record.
Does the work
When it is done they add their own photos of the finished job, straight from their phone.
Uploads the invoice
They attach the invoice and enter the figure. It lands on the job, ready for your team to approve.
What you get
- No onboarding. A contractor you have never used before can start from the link alone.
- No chasing for photos or invoices by text. They arrive on the job, attached to the right flat.
- Nothing for the contractor to remember. There is no password and no app to update.
Secure by design
A contractor's link opens one job and nothing else, and it expires after 30 days. FixDocket stores only a hash of each link, so it cannot be read out of the database. Every time a link is opened, successfully or not, it is written to the job's history, so if a link is forwarded the access is on the record. The detail is on the security page.
Then you sign off
When the invoice is in, a named member of your team approves the amount at a recorded time. The job closes, and its complete history is kept as a page in your console and a PDF on demand: see the repair audit trail. No money moves through FixDocket; your own accounting system pays the contractor.
