The repair record
A repair audit trail you can hand to anyone
Repairs are where property management gets argued about: whether the tenant reported it, how long it took, what it cost, who approved it. FixDocket keeps the answer as it happened.
What the record holds
Who reported what, and when
The tenant's report, with its photos, stamped with the time it arrived.
How it was handled
Every change of status is attributed: whether a member of your team, the tenant, the contractor or the landlord's link made it.
What it cost
The contractor's completion photos and invoice, with the figure, kept with the job.
Who approved it
The amount is signed off by a named person at a recorded time.
History that cannot be quietly rewritten
Every event is added to the job's history and none can be silently edited or removed, by you or by us. A correction is a new entry, and the old one stays. Every use of a tenant, contractor or landlord link is recorded too, including attempts that failed.
A PDF when someone asks
For a deposit dispute, a landlord or an auditor, download the complete history as one PDF: the report, the timeline, the photos, the invoice and the sign-off. Or share the job with the landlord through a link that lasts 90 days.
Yours to delete
The record is append-only, but it is your data. When your retention policy or the law requires it, an authorised manager can delete the whole record for a job, a flat or a building, photos included. Erased data drops out of backups within seven days. See how information is handled and our data processing agreement.
The record is built from the steps in tenant reporting and contractor job links, and it is how letting agents answer a landlord's questions.
