Who is responsible

For this notice, Northvale Technologies Ltd, trading as FixDocket, is the controller: company number 17453725, registered in England and Wales, registered office 277 Great Clowes Street, Salford M7 2HE. To reach us about your information, reply to the email we sent you.

This is different from the notice for tenants who report repairs, where the property manager is the controller and we act for them. That notice is here.

What we hold

• Your name, job title and work email address.
• The business you work for.
• Our notes of any contact with you, such as when we emailed and what you replied.

Where it came from

Your business's own website or another public business source, such as Companies House. The email we sent you says which.

Why, and on what basis

To offer FixDocket to businesses that manage rented property. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: we want to find customers, you act in a work role that the product is relevant to, and we keep the contact small. We send at most three emails unless you reply, then we stop.

Who else handles it

Our email provider processes it for us, as our processor, in order to send and receive the emails. Ask us if you would like to know which provider. We do not sell your details or pass them to anyone to market to you.

How long we keep it

If you do not reply, we delete your details 12 months after our last contact. If you ask us to stop, we keep only your email address, your business's domain and the date, so that we never contact you again.

Your rights, including the right to object

You can object at any time to us using your details to market to you, and we will stop. Reply to our email with "stop" or "no thanks". You can also ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We make no automated decisions about you.

If you are not satisfied, you can complain to us by replying to our email, and to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
