A Fiixit alternative for letting agents
Fiixit and FixDocket are both newer UK repair tools built for agents who have outgrown spreadsheets and chasing by email. This page sets what Fiixit says on its own site beside what FixDocket does, and says where Fiixit is the stronger choice.
Disclosure: this page is written by FixDocket, so it is not neutral. The Fiixit column is taken from Fiixit's own website as read on 13 October 2026, and each row names the page it came from. Their product and prices change, so check their site for the current position, and ask them anything we could not find.
Who each is for
Fiixit presents itself as a repairs and compliance platform for letting agents, landlords, tenants and trades, with compliance reminders alongside repairs. FixDocket is narrower: it is built around the repair record, a timestamped, photographed, per-flat history of who reported what, when it was answered, what it cost and who approved it, for independent lettings and block-management firms.
Side by side
What Fiixit's site says, as at 13 October 2026, next to what FixDocket does today. Where we could not find something we say so, which is not the same as saying they do not have it.
| What to check | What Fiixit's site says | FixDocket today |
|---|---|---|
| Price | From 80p per property per month: £1 per property for the first 10, 80p after that, with a 20p premium for properties of more than six bedrooms. No set-up fee and no committed term, and a three-month free trial. We could not find whether VAT is included. Source | £49 a month for the whole team and every building, on the pricing page. The first 10 repairs are free. |
| Tenants | A tenant can create a free account, or, once identified at the property, report through a secure portal without one. Photos and videos can be added. Source | A QR code on the flat, or a link your team sends. No account, no app. |
| Contractors | Trades are added to your private list and invited. They can receive job details and updates by email without an account, and with a free account get a dashboard, comments and photo upload. We did not find whether an account is needed to update a job, or anything on invoicing; ask Fiixit. Home, trades | A secure link per job that expires after 30 days. They upload photos and the invoice from it, with no account and no app. |
| History | A full history log, with every interaction timestamped and archived and described as a permanent audit trail. We did not find whether an entry can be edited. Source | The application never edits an entry in a job's history; a later change is a new entry. Entries are removed only when your team erases a whole job, flat or building, which deletes its history and photos and keeps a note that an erasure took place. |
| Export | We did not find a PDF or CSV export on the pages we read; ask Fiixit what you can take out for a dispute. Source | The history, photos, invoice total and a list of invoice documents export as one PDF, and the job list as CSV. |
| Landlords | Agents choose what to share with owners, who see job status in a dashboard, and can send automated weekly summaries. We did not find an approval step described. Source | A job link that lasts 90 days, with no landlord account, where the landlord can approve. |
| Compliance | Reminders and automatic job creation for gas and electrical checks, and storage of contractor insurance, Gas Safe and EICR documents with expiry alerts. Source | None. FixDocket is for responsive repairs and the record of them, not a compliance calendar. |
| Integrations | The only integration we found named is Stripe, for billing. We found no property management system integration. Source | CSV export of the job list. No live integration with property management systems today. |
| Where data is held | Its privacy policy says data is processed in the UK. We did not find a hosting provider, sub-processors or retention periods named; ask Fiixit for them. Source | Hosted in London, each customer's data kept apart by the application. Details. |
Where Fiixit is the stronger choice
If any of these matter more to you than the repair record, Fiixit is the better fit, and we would rather you knew that before you started:
- a published price that starts at 80p per property a month, and a three-month free trial
- compliance monitoring and expiry reminders alongside repairs, which FixDocket does not have
- free onboarding for larger portfolios, where Fiixit loads your properties, tenants and compliance dates
- white labelling, and a property hub for sharing documents with tenants
Where FixDocket may fit better
If what you need most is a defensible record of each repair, the points to compare are the contractor link that needs no account, the landlord approval, and the one-document export of a job's history. Run the same questions past Fiixit and see what it answers.
Questions to put to any vendor
Whichever you shortlist, ask the same things: what the second year costs and for how long you are committed; what a contractor has to do before they can update a job; whether an entry in the history can be edited and whether that is logged; what you can export for a deposit dispute; and where the data is hosted and who the sub-processors are. For how repair software is priced, see what it should cost.
Fiixit is a trade mark of its owner. FixDocket is not affiliated with or endorsed by Fiixit.
Try it on a real building
The quickest comparison is to run your own repairs through it. Your first 10 repairs are free, with no card needed. Or book a demo and we will show you the tenant report, the contractor link, the sign-off and the PDF. For more detail see repair management for letting agents and the repair audit trail.
Frequently asked questions
Is FixDocket a replacement for Fiixit?
For some agents, yes: if you want repairs on one record with contractor and landlord links that need no account, and a one-document export of a job. For others, no: if you want compliance reminders alongside repairs, or the lowest published per-property price, Fiixit offers those and FixDocket does not.
Is FixDocket cheaper than Fiixit?
We cannot say, and the two are priced differently. Fiixit publishes a per-property price from 80p a month. FixDocket charges one price for the whole team and every building, set out on its pricing page, so you can work out both for your own portfolio.
Where does the Fiixit information on this page come from?
From Fiixit's own website, as read on 13 October 2026. Each row names the page it came from. Their product and prices change, so check their site for the current position.
